RULES and GUIDANCE

 

1.  TITLE    The name of the club is OXON SHAMROCK C.S.C

 

2. LOCATION.  Oxon Shamrock CSC is based at the SIX BELLS Church Street Bicester Oxfordshire

 

3. OBJECTIVE.   The objective of the Club is to promote the Glasgow Celtic Football Club and have a place where like-minded people can support and enjoy the club games in a non-sectarian manner in line with the official position of Celtic CFC. We will raise funds for the local community and support approved schemes to contribute to. We will endeavour to arrange travel tospecified games where the club will attend matches throughout the season.

 

4. MANAGEMENT The management of the club is vested in a committee of members who shall be elected annually, with the exception of the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer who will have two-year tenures. The Committee will consist of Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Social secretary and any other members seconded as deemed necessary. The board has the power to fill any vacancy that arises until ratified by a general Meeting and to appoint any sub-committees as required.

 

5. MEMBERSHIP A candidate must apply to the committee for entry and fill in the application form. Each applicant must apply annually and the decision of acceptance rests solely with the committee. The terms of membership will be on the back of the application form.

 

6 SUBSCRIPTION The annual fee shall be payable on acceptance of members on an annual basis. This will run from the start of each SPL season. The level os subscription fee shall be set by the committee and ratified by the members at a the Annual General Meeting

 

7   FUND The income and expenditure of the Club shall be recorded by the Treasurer. The Clubs annual accounts shall be open to scrutiny and the treasurer at the AGM will present a financial report. The funds shall be used in furtherance of the Club’s specified aims and objectives. The committee shall have the power to waive or reduce membership fees in cases of hardship and will be done in strict confidence.

 

8. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING  Shall be held in the month of August each year and will receive the Committees reports and financial statement from the Treasurer. Officers will be elected and Agenda items submitted and dealt with. The Secretary must give 21 days notice of the meeting and this will be posted on the Oxon Shamrock website and on the notices in the Six Bells . Items for the agenda must be given 14 days in advance to the secretary.

 

9. EXTRAORDINARY MEERTING An extraordinary Meeting must be called by the secretary within 14 days of receipt by him/her of a notice signed by at least 10 members of the club stating business to be brought before such a meeting.

 

10 ALTERATION OF RULES No alteration or addition to the rules may be made except by annual or extraordinary meeting called for that purpose Notice of any proposed amendments must be given as provided in rules 8 and 9.

 

11. Members are expected to follow the Guidelines as below.

 

Fees to be paid at time of acceptance.

Singing of abusive or sectarian songs will not be permitted.

Everyone has the freedom of Expression under Human Rights Act. The committee reserves the right to uphold the guidance given and on signing the application you will agree to refrain from bringing the club into disrepute.

If you book a ticket you will be liable for the cost if you decide to withdraw.
